CANCELLATION AND REFUND PROCEDURE (CONTRACT FORMAT)

Article 1 – Purpose and Scope

This procedure regulates the cancellation, refund and payment conditions of car rental reservations made through www.turkeimietwagen.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Intermediary Service Provider”). These provisions apply to all reservations made by the user (the “Customer”).

Article 2 – Types of Reservations and Payment Methods

  1. Prepaid Reservation

    • The Customer pays the total rental amount by credit/debit card at the time of booking.

    • In case of cancellation, refund conditions are subject to the provisions of Article 3.

    • For reservations marked as “Non-Refundable” or under a special campaign, there is no right of cancellation or refund.

  2. Pay on Arrival

    • The Customer pays only a prepayment (reservation guarantee) amount by credit card at the time of booking; the total rental fee is paid to the supplier company upon vehicle collection.

    • For pay on arrival reservations, there is a free cancellation right up to 48 hours before the vehicle pick-up time.

    • In pay on arrival reservations, for all cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the vehicle pick-up time (regardless of the exact remaining hours), the prepayment (reservation guarantee) is non-refundable.

    • In case of no-show (failure to pick up the vehicle), the supplier company’s penalty conditions apply.

Article 3 – Cancellation of Reservation

  1. General Cancellation Conditions

    • For prepaid reservations cancelled at least 48 hours before vehicle pick-up, the Customer is entitled to a full refund without deduction.

    • For prepaid reservations cancelled between 48 and less than 24 hours before vehicle pick-up, 30% of the total rental amount is deducted and the remainder is refunded. For cancellations made less than 24 hours before pick-up, 50% of the total rental amount is deducted and the remainder is refunded.

    • For cancellations made after the scheduled vehicle pick-up time or in case the vehicle is not collected, no refund is issued.

  1. Amendment Process

    • No changes can be made to the date, vehicle group, or additional services of an existing reservation.

    • If the Customer wishes to make any change, the existing reservation must be cancelled and becomes subject to these procedures. A new reservation must then be created through the system.

Article 4 – Refund Process

  1. Refunds for cancelled reservations are made using the original payment method (credit/debit card, bank transfer, etc.) to the original card or account details.

  2. The refund process is completed within 7–10 business days from the confirmation of cancellation.

Article 5 – Non-Refundable Reservations

  1. For reservations marked as “Non-Refundable” or “Special Campaign,” there is no right of cancellation or refund.

  2. Even if the Customer does not collect the vehicle for any reason, the payment will not be refunded.

Article 6 – Force Majeure

  1. Situations that may be considered force majeure (natural disasters, war, acts of terrorism, medical emergencies, flight cancellations, etc.) must be proven by the Customer with an official document.

  2. In cases of force majeure, the Intermediary Service Provider will, subject to the relevant supplier’s conditions, endeavor to offer the most suitable solution in favor of the Customer.
